Biyahe ng mga jeepney sa San Juan City, di apektado ng tigil-pasada ng PISTON

Tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang biyahe ng mga jeepney sa bahagi ng San Juan City kasunod ng ikinasang tigil-pasada ng grupong PISTON ngayong araw.

Ayon sa ilang mga tsuper ng jeepney na biyaheng San Juan-Rosario gayundin ang San Juan-Crame at pabalik, karamihan kasi sa mga jeepney dito ay nakalahok na sa consolidation.

Bagaman may ilang mga tsuper ang aminadong miyembro dati ng PISTON subalit kumalas na matapos magpasya ang kanilang mga operator na magpa-consolidate.

Nabatid na tatlong araw ang ikinasang tigil-pasada ng PISTON sa buong bansa bilang pagtutol nila sa PUV Modernization Program.

Pero mismong si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. gayundin ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang nagsabi na “long over due” na ang modernisasyon sa hanay ng transportasyon kaya’t walang dahilan para hindi ito ituloy. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
