Bumaba na sa 40% ang hindi naire-remit na mga kontribusyon sa Social Security System ng mga delinquent employers sa bansa.
Ito ang iniulat ni SSS President at CEO Rolando Macasaet sa isang pulong balitaan sa SSS main branch sa Quezon City ngayong araw.
Ayon sa kaniya, bunga ito ng pinaigting na ‘Run After Contribution Evaders’ o RACE campaign.
Ayon kay Macasaet, mula sa P92 bilyong hindi nakolektang kontribusyon noong 2022, bumaba na ito sa P56 bilyon nitong 2023.
Kaugnay nito, tuloy-tuloy rin ang paghahain ng kaso ng SSS sa mga pasaway na employer na tumatangging mag-remit ng kontribusyon ng kanilang mga manggagawa.
Katunayan, nasa 2,422 employers na ang nakasuhan nito na karamihan ay mabilis din nilang tinugunan sa pamamagitan ng pagbabayad ng tamang kontribusyon.
Muli namang nanawagan sa employers si Macasaet na gawin ang tama para sa kapakanan at benepisyo ng kanilang mga empleyado.
Handa rin naman aniya ang SSS na tulungan ang employers lalo na ang mga maliliit na negosyong hirap na makabangon. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
