Meralco, mahigpit na binabantayan ang sitwasyon sa supply ng kuryente matapos magtaas ng Yellow at Red Alert status ang NGCP

Mahigpit na tinututukan ng Manila Electric Company (Meralco) ang sitwasyon kaugnay sa supply ng kuryente ngayong araw.

Ito ay matapos na magtaas ng Yellow Alert Status ang National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) sa Luzon Grid mula 1 PM hanggang 2 PM, masusundan pa mamayang ng 4 PM hanggang 6 PM, at 9 PM hanggang 11 PM.

Habang, magtataas din ng Red Alert Status ang NGCP sa Luzon Grid mula 2 PM hanggang 4 PM at 6 PM hanggang 9 PM.

Dahil dito, nakahandang magpatupad ng manual load dropping o rotating power interruptions ang Meralco kung kinakailangan sa ilang bahagi ng kanilang franchise area.

Pinapayuhan din ng Meralco ang mga lumalahok sa Interruptible Load Program sa posibilidad ng de-loading mula sa grid upang makatulong sa pagpapahupa ng sitwasyon. | ulat ni Diane Lear
