Mahigpit nang binabantayan ng Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory ang kondisyon ng kalusugan ng mga Person Deprived of Liberty ngayong tumitindi ang mainit na panahon.

Ayon kay QCJMD Jail Warden, JSupt Warren Geronimo, partikular na tinututukan ng jail facility ang heat stroke na posibleng maranasan sa loob ng jail.

Regular nang isinasagawa ang health education sa loob ng pasilidad upang itaas ang kamalayan ng mga PDL sa senyales at sintomas ng heat stroke.

Isinusulong din nito ang preventive measure at ang epektibong diskarte para mabawasan kung hindi man tuluyang mapuksa ang health emergencies.

Dahil sa masikip na bilangguan, karaniwan nang nararanasan ng PDLs pag summer season ang sakit sa balat tulad ng pigsa, heat stroke, pagtaas ng presyon at iba pa.

Nitong nakalipas na araw, may 364 na PDL na mga matatanda at may karamdaman ang inilipat sa bagong QC Jail sa Payatas, Lungsod Quezon. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
