Pagsama sa bed-ridden seniors at PWDs sa mga benepisyaryo ng 4Ps, isinusulong ni Sen. Imee Marcos

Hinikayat ni Senator Imee Marcos ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na palawakin ang Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) para maisama sa mga benepisyaryo ang mga bed-ridden senior citizens at persons with disabilities (PWDs).

Ayon kay Sen. Imee, dapat mag-alok rin ng iba’t ibang menu ang 4Ps para masakop ang mas marami pang mahihirap na benepisyaryo.

Mula kasi aniya 2007 nang mabuo ang programa ay limitado lang sa health, vaccination at education ang 4Ps.

Hinimok rin ni Senator Imee ang DSWD, na makipagtulungan sa ibang government agencies at non-government organizations (NGOs) para makabuo ng praktikal na exit strategies para sa 4Ps beneficiaries.

Pinaliwanag ng mambabatas, na ito ay para mas maraming Pilipino ang makakuha ng 4Ps program.

Para aniya maging matagumpay ang 4Ps ay dapat maging self-sufficient kalaunan ang mga pamilyang benepisyaryo ng 4Ps.
