Itinalaga na ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. si Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Undersecretary Hans Leo Cacdac, bilang kalihim ng tanggapan.
Ito ang kinumpirma ni PCO Secretary Cheloy Vicaria – Garafil, isang taon makaraang italaga bilang Officer-in-Charge ng tanggapan ang opisyal.
“The President has designated Cacdac as the Officer-in-Charge of the DMW after the passing of former secretary Susan “Toots” Ople in August last year.” — Secretary Garafil.
Bago ang appointment na ito, una na ring nagsilbi si Cacdac bilang Executive Director ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA); Executive Director ng Philippine Employment Administration (POEA); at Undersecretary of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Una na rin itong naglingkod bilang Deputy Executive Director ng POEA; Executive Director ng National Conciliation Mediation Board-DOLE; Director ng Bureau of Labor Relations-DOLE; at Associate Lawyer at Urban Poor Unit Coordinator ng Sentro ng Alternatibong Lingap Panligal (SALIGAN) sa pribadong sektor.
