Pinangunahan ni Philippine Navy Flag Officer in Command Vice Admiral Toribio Adaci Jr. ang pag-komisyon ng dalawang bagong Fast Attack Interdiction Craft (FAIC) ng Philippine Navy.

Ayon kay VAdm. Adaci, ang BRP Herminigildo Yurong (PG906) at BRP Laurence Narag (PG907) ay mahalagang asset para sa archipelagic defense na magpapahintulot ng rapid deployment at force projection para mapalakas ang deterrence at seguridad sa karagatan ng bansa.

Nagpasalamat si VAdm. Adaci sa Pambansang liderato at sa Department of National Defense (DND) sa kanilang suporta sa FAIC acquisition project.

Sa pag-komisyon dalawang bagong Acero-class gunboat ay 6 na ang FAIC ng Philippine Navy, kabilang ang BRP Nestor Acero (PG-901), at BRP Lolinato To-Ong (PG-902) na dineliver noong Setyembre 2022; at BRP Gener Tinangag (PG-903) at BRP Domingo Deluana (PG-905) na dineliver noong April 2023.
