Kinumpirma ng Philippine National Police (PNP) Highway Patrol Group – National Capital Region (HPG-NCR) na pinakawalan na ang dalawang tauhan ng Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na nahuli dahil sa pagkakaroon ng “Police” markings sa kanilang motorsiklo.

Ayon kay HPG-NCR Chief, Police Col. Neil Francia, alinsunod ito sa utos na kanilang natanggap mula sa Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office dahil sa kawalan ng matibay na ebidensyang magdiriin dito.

Ayon kay Francia, sumailalim muna sila sa medical examination bago pakawalan pasado alas-8 kagabi.

Una nang inireklamo ng HPG-NCR ang dalawang MMDA personnel dahil sa usurpation of authority at illegal use of uniform.

Magugunitang ipinagtanggol ni Sen. Francis Tolentino ang dalawang MMDA personnel na ibinigay sa kaniya para magsilbing escort noong araw na iyon.

Naglabas na rin ng pahayag ang pamunuan ng MMDA hinggil sa usapin at nangakong iimbestigahan ang bagay na ito. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
