Financing agreement para sa climate adaptation projects sa bansa, nilagdaan ni Finance Sec. Recto

Nilagdaan ni Finance Secretary Ralph Recto ang limang (5) financing agreement para sa local adaptation projects at para sa dalawang (2) bagong proyekto.

Ayon kay Recto, Chair ng People’s Survival Fund (PSF), maglalaan sila ng P1 bilyong budget para sa mga naturang proyekto.

Kabilang dito ang climate adaptation project sa sa Surigao Del Sur at Ilocos Norte na nagkakahalaga ng P432 million.

Habang ang limang climate adaptation project na nagkakahalaga ng P539.4 million ay para sa probinsya ng Borongan City, Eastern Samar; Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte; Mountain Province; Maramag, Bukidnon at Catanauan, Quezon.

Ang People Survival Fund ay itinatag para magkaloob ng long term financing para sa mga adaptation projects ng local government units at community organization na naglalayong patatagin ang resiliency sa mga epekto ng cimate change. | ulat ni Melany Valdoz Reyes
