Mga estudyanteng parte ng LGBTQIA+, bibigyan ng espesyal na graduation ceremony ng QC LGU

Kung sa ibang lugar ay hindi pinapayagang magmartsa ang mga miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ community, ang Quezon City Local Government, may handog pang espesyal na graduation ceremony.

Ayon sa LGU, ito ay para ipagdiwang ang karapatan ng mga mag-aaral na malayang magtapos at mag-martsa na ayon sa kanilang sariling presentasyon.

Idadaos ito sa darating na June 22, 2024, na tinawag na “Graduation Rights: March with Pride in QC.” 

Bukas ang programang ito sa mga:

• Miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ Community

• 18 anyos pataas

• Residente ng Quezon City o kung hindi man, nagtapos sa paaralan na matatagpuan sa Quezon City

• Hindi nakapagmartsa base sa kanilang kasarian at nais na self-expression noong sila ay Senior High School o College
