Inirerekomenda ng Department of Health (DOH) na kumonsulta sa doktor sakaling tumagal ng limang araw ang nararamdamang respiratory illness.
Pahayag ito ni Health Secretary Ted Herbosa sa harap ito ng transisyon ng panahon kung saan talamak ang seasonal flu.
“If your respiratory symptoms are not clearing up in five days, time to consult with a physician.” — Secretary Herbosa.
Bukod pa dito ang una nang napaulat na Pertussis at ang binabantayan ngayon sa Singapore na FLiRT variant ng COVID-19.
“Hindi ako magre-recommend siguro, but it would be nice to have the testing if they have access to testing – that is recommended. Of course, you would know what you are sick of, if you do the testing.” — Secretary Herbosa.
Sa press briefing sa Malacañang, sinabi ng kalihim na mas mainam pa rin ang pagsunod sa mga pag-iingat, upang maprotektahan ang sarili o hindi makapanghawa.
Nariyan ang pag-self isolate at paggamit ng face mask kung mayroong nararamdaman.
Mainam rin na manatiling hydrated at panatilihin ang malusog na pangangatawan.
