Philippine at US Marines, nagsagawa ng interoperability exercise sa Palawan

Magtatapos na ngayong araw ang isinagawang interoperability exercise sa pagitan ng Philippine at US Marines sa Brgy. Kamuning sa Puerto Princesa City sa Palawan.

Ito’y bilang bahagi ng serye ng combined interoperability events sa ilalim ng Comprehensive Archepelagic Costal Defense Continuum.

Kabilang sa mga lumahok sa naturang pagsasanay ay ang Marine Battalion Landing Team -9 sa ilalim ng 3rd Marine Brigade ng PhilippineMarines at ang 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit ng US Marine Corps.

Layon ng naturang pagsasanay na patatagin at palawakin pa ang kani-kanilang kaalaman hinggil sa coastal defense at ang pagsecure ng mga vital supply at troop movement.

Kasunod nito, nagpalipad din ng drone ang 3rd Marine Corps Intelligence Company na siyang nagbibigay ng real-time data para sa intelligence at surveillance gathering.

Nagsagawa rin dito ng obstacle emplacement at occupational defense kung saan, isang scenario ang isinagawa para alamin ang mga kinakailangang hakbang pangdepensa sa coastal waters gaya ng sa Pilipinas. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
