Pilipinas at Norway, lumagda sa isang kasunduan para sa STCW ng Pinoy seafarers sa kanilang bansa

Lumagda sa isang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ang Pilipinas at bansang Norway para sa pag-accredit ng Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping (STCW) ng mga Pinoy seafarer.

Kapwa lumagda ang Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) at ang Norwegian Maritime Authority upang mabigyan ng akreditasyon ang mga Pilipinong marino na magtatrabaho sa kanilang shipping companies.

Ayon sa MARINA, ang naturang MOA ay maghahatid ng karagdagang oportunidad sa mga Filipino seafarer.

Sa huli, positibo naman ang MARINA na mas maraming trabaho ang maidudulot nito sa ating mga Pilipinong marino na nais magtrabaho sa shipping companies sa naturang bansa.
