SBMA at DOF-FIRB, tinalakay ang Create Act sa mga investor ng Freeport

Dumadami na ang investor companies ang inaasahang mag-avail ng tax incentives sa ilalim ng Republic Act (RA) 11534 o Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises o Create Act.

Kamakailan pinulong ng Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) at Department of Finance-Fiscal Incentives Review Board (DOF-FIRB) ang mga business locator upang talakayin ang mga amyenda sa Create Act.

Ayon kay SBMA Chair and Administrator Eduardo Jose Alino, makakatulong ang mga nalikom nilang “feedback” mula sa locators sa operasyon ng SBMA alinsunod sa probisyon ng Create Act.

Layon ng batas na ibaba ang corporate income taxes ng 25 percent at 20 percent para sa mga small, medium and micro enterprise, nagbibigay din ito ng fiscal relief and recovery measures sa negosyanteng Pinoy na labis na naapektuhan ng COVID-19 pandemic.
