System Upgrade sa air traffic system ng CAAP, inaasahang matatapos ngayong taon

Umaasa ang pamunuan ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines na makukumpleto na nila ang system upgrade sa ikatlong quarter ngayong taon. 

Ito ang naging sagot ng CAAP matapos magka-aberya ang kanilang air traffic management system na naging dahilan ng flight delays at cancellation sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport kahapon. 

Ayon kay CAAP Spokesperson Eric Apolonio, bagamat nais nilang maging mabilis ang upgrade ay may proseso aniya itong sinusunod. 

Paliwanag ni Apolonio na sana ay maintindihan ng lahat na noon pang 2010 nagawa ang kanilang ginagamit na sistema dahilan kaya mahaba ang proseso ng update. 

Dagdag pa ng CAAP na bagamat nais nilang tiyakin na hindi na ulit mangyayari ang aberya sa kanilang software ay masisiguro lamang ito sa oras na tuluyang makumpleto ang upgrade sa kanilang sistema na inaasahan ngang matapos sa 3rd quarter ng 2024.  | ulat ni Lorenz Tanjoco
