Dalawang senador, nanawagan ng diplomatic solution sa tumitinding tensyon sa West Philippine Sea

Sang-ayon si Senador Alan Peter Cayetano sa suhestiyon ni Senate Majority leader Francis Tolentino na dapat nang magpulong ang National Security Council (NSC) para makabuo ng mga posibleng tugon sa mga agresibong aksyon ng China.

Sa gitna nito, nanawagan pa rin si Cayetano na resolbahin sa diplomatikong paraan ang patuloy na tumitinding tensyon sa West Philippine Sea.

Umaasa ang senador na magkakaroon pa rin ng high level talks sa pagitan ng ating Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at ni Chinese President Xi Jinping at na magkakaroon ng isang high-level mini-NSC talk na walang pulitika.

Nais rin ni Senador Christopher ‘Bong’ Go na maresolba ang mga isyu sa WPS sa mapayapa at diplomatikong paraan.

Giit ni Go, ang pagkakaroon ng respeto sa isa’t isa ang susi para mapahupa ang tensyon at maresolba ang mga hindi pagkakaunawaan.
