House leader, muling nanawagan sa China na itigil na ang agresibong mga aktibidad sa West Philippine Sea

Muling umapela si Speaker Martin  Romualdez sa China na ihinto na ang panggigipit at agresibo nitong mga gawain sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Kasunod ito ng ulat na kinuha ng Chinese Coast Guard ang ilang food items at supply na in-airdrop para sana sa mga sundalong nakadestino sa Ayungin Shoal.

Aniya una nang idineklara ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa Singapore Defense Summit na hindi nito isusuko nikatiting na pulgada o milimetro ng ating teritoryo.

“At sa nangyayari po… nalulungkot talaga tayo dito sa ginagawa ng ating kapitbahay, mga taga-China, at sana tigilan na nila itong mga aggressive behavior kasi hindi gaganda ang relasyon natin,” ani Romualdez.

Sinabi pa ng House leader na malawak ang ugnayan l ng Pilipinas at China at hindi ito nasusukat sa naturang mga aksyon gayunman, kung magpapatuloy aniya ang agresyon ng China ay lalo lang magkakatensyon ang ating relasyon.

“Sa totoo lang po, hindi dapat itong West Philippine Sea ang magde-define ng ating relasyon between the Philippines and China. Mas marami pang bahagi ng ating relasyon pero habang itong mga aggressive behavior ng China ay isinasagawa ng kanilang mga Naval, or Coast Guard, or militia forces, or mga Naval assets nila or sea assets, lalong nagiging tense at lumalala ang ating relasyon dito,” saad niya.

Pero nanindigan rin si Romualdez na hindi papayag ang Pilipinas sa ginagawang pagtrato ng China, at patuloy na susuportahan ang polisiya at direksyon ng ating Presidente.  | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
