Iniulat ni Speaker Martin Romualdez sa pulong ng Legislative-Executive Development Council (LEDAC) na pinangunahan mismo ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na tapos na ng Kamara ang ‘homework’ nito pagdating sa LEDAC priority measures.
Aniya, naaprubahan na ng Kamara sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ang mga priority measures ng Marcos Jr. administration at hinihintay na lang na aksyunan ng Senado.
“The House of the People has done its homework. Our accomplishments reflect our proactive stance in catering to the needs of the people by passing these much-needed legislation that are attuned to the Philippine Development Plan and the 8-point socio-economic agenda under the Medium-Term Fiscal Framework of the President,” sabi ni Romualdez.
Tatlong buwang mas maaga ay napagtibay na ng Kamara ang 20 sa LEDAC measures na target matapos ng June 2024.
Tatlo sa mga ito ay batas na, tatlo ang nasa enrollment process may dalawa na aprubado na ang bicameral conference committee report at isa na in-adopt ng Kamara.
Mayroon din apat na nakasalang sa bicam partikular ang Philippine Defense Industry Development Act/Self-Reliant Defense Posture Act, Philippine Maritime Zones Act, Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning Program Act, at VAT on Digital Transactions Act.
Hanggang nitong June 2024 sa kabuuang 59 priority measure ng LEDAC 13 na ang naging ganap na batas.
Ito ang: SIM Registration Act, Postponement of Barangay / SK Elections, Strengthening Professionalism in the AFP, New Agrarian Emancipation Act, Maharlika Investment Fund, Regional Specialty Hospitals, National Employment Recovery Strategy/ Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act, LGU Income Classification;
Internet Transaction Act / E-Commerce Law, Amendments to the BOT Law / PPP Bill, Ease of Paying Taxes, Tatak Pinoy (Proudly Filipino) Act, New Philippine Passport Act, Revitalizing the Salt Industry Bill, Philippine Ecosystem and Natural Capital Accounting System, Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act, at Negros Island Region Act. | ulat ni Kathleen Forbes
