Mas mahigpit na seguridad sa lahat ng kampo, ipinatupad ng AFP

Hinigpitan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang seguridad sa lahat ng kanilang mga kampo.

Ayon kay AFP Public Affairs Office Chief Colonel Xerxes Trinidad, ang hakbang ay para masiguro na lahat ng asset ng militar ay protektado laban sa mga posibleng banta.

Bahagi aniya ito ng pagtupad sa kanilang commitment sa PH-US General Security of Military Information Agreement.

Kabilang sa mga kasalukuyang hakbang ng AFP ang paggamit ng mga advanced surveillance systems, pagpapalakas ng pagsasanay sa kanilang mga tauhan, at mas mahigpit na access controls sa mga sensitibong area ng militar.

Plano rin ng AFP na ipagpatuloy ang pamumuhunan sa mga makabagong security technologies at training programs.

Palalakasin din ang pakikipagtulungan ng militar sa US Military counterparts nito sa pamamagitan ng joint exercises.

Sinabi ni Trinidad na patuloy na pinalalakas ng AFP ang kanilang kakayahan upang tugunan ang traditional at unconventional security threats.  | ulat ni Leo Sarne
