Pagtaas ng lebel ng tubig sa Angat Dam, posibleng sa Hulyo pa magsimula — PAGASA

Hindi pa inaasahan ng PAGASA na makatutulong ang mga pag-ulang nararanasan ngayon para umangat at bumalik sa normal ang lebel ng tubig sa Angat Dam.

Ayon kay PAGASA Hydromet Chief Engr. Roy Badilla, kalat-kalat pa ngayon ang mga naoobserbahang pag-ulan at hindi pa mataas ang volume ng rainfall na dala ng thunderstorms.

Sa kabila nito, nakatutulong naman aniya ang mga pag-ulan sa mga nakalipas na araw para hindi lubusang sumadsad ang water elevation ng Angat Dam.

Batay naman sa pagtaya ng PAGASA, posibleng sa Hulyo pa iiral ang mga malalakas na pag-ulang magpapataas ng antas ng tubig sa Angat Dam.

As of 8am ngayong umaga, walang naitalang bawas ang PAGASA sa lebel ng tubig sa Angat Dam kaya nanatili ito sa antas na 176.62 meters. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
