Pinapurihan ni CIBAC Party-List Representative Bro. Eddie Villanueva ang mungkahi ni Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chairperson George Garcia na isapubliko ang Statements of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) ng mga kakandidato sa 2025 elections.

Sa plano ni Garcia, gagawing accessible online ang SOCE ng mga kandidato upang mabigyang access ang publiko.

Suportado ni Villanueva ang hakbang na aniya ay magpapalakas sa transparancy at accountability ng ating election system.

Paraan din aniya ito upang masuri ng publiko ang kandidato at makilatis kung ano ang tunay nitong hangarin sa pagtakbo.

People will have a greater scrutiny of who are financing the candidates, where are the campaign money coming from, and is it legitimate or not.
