Sen. Gatchalian, nanawagan sa LGUs na maging mapagbantay sa POGO sa kanilang mga lugar

Inabisuhan ni Senate Committee on Ways and Means Chairperson Sherwin Gatchalian ang mga local government unit (LGU) na maging alerto sa mga POGO sa kanilang lugar.

Ayon kay Gatchalian, dapat ay maging mapagmasid ang mga lokal na pamahalaan sa POGO at huwag nang idahilan ang hindi nila alam.

Aniya, tila nagiging palusot na kasi ng local chief executives sa mga munisipalidad o lungsod ang mga ganitong sagot.

Binigyang diin ng senador, na dapat maging mapagbantay ang mga LGU sa POGO para matiyak na mapapananatili na legal at hindi masasangkot sa anumang ilegal na gawain ang mga nasa kanilang nasasakupan. 

Dagdag pa ni Gatchalian, kung ayaw naman nila ng gulo na dala ng POGO ay dapat gayahin na lang ang ibang LGU gaya ng Pasig at Valenzuela na naglabas na ng ordinansang nagbabawal sa mga POGO. | ulat ni Nimfa Asuncion
