SP Chiz Escudero: NTC, dapat magpaliwanag sa pagpapatupad ng SIM Registration Law

Dapat ipaliwanag ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) kung bakit hindi epektibong naipapatupad ang SIM Registration Law ayon kay Senate President Chiz Escudero.

Una na kasing sinabi ng NTC, na hindi ‘silver bullet’ o simpleng solusyon sa kumplikadong problema ng text scams ang SIM Registration law.

Giit ni Escudero, sa halip na mangatwiran o magbigay ng palusot dapat ay magpaliwanag na lang ang NTC.

Dapat rin aniyang lumapit ang NTC sa Kongreso at sabihin kung ano pa ang kailangan nila para epektibong magampanan ang kanilang mandato, maipatupad ang naturang batas, at nang masugpo na ang text scams.

Pinaliwanag naman ng senate president, na walang pananagutan ang NTC sa hindi epektibong pagpapatupad ng SIM registration law…
