AFP, patuloy ang Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief ops sa mga lugar na apektado ng bagyong Carina

Siyam na Search, Rescue, and Retrieval (SRR) teams mula sa 2nd Infantry Division (2ID) ng Philippine Army at lima mula sa Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF-NCR) ang ideneploy ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) para sa Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations sa mga lugar na naapektuhan ng malawakang pagbaha sa Metro Manila at iba pang lalawigan.

Ayon kay AFP Public Affairs Office Chief Col. Xerxes Trinidad, dalawang Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team ng 525th Engineer “Forerunner” Battalion ng Philippine Army na binubuo ng 52 personnel, ang agad na rumesponde at naglikas ng mga apektado ng malawakang pagbaha sa NCR.

Nasagip naman ng 505th Search and Rescue Group ng Philippine Air Force ang nasa 100 residente ng Pasay na apektado ng pagbaha.

Mayroon ding walong teams na binubuo ng 11 officers at 46 Enlisted Personnel mula sa Philippine Navy ang patuloy na nagsasagawa ng Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations sa San Juan, Manila, Pasig, at Mandaluyong.

Kasunod nito, tiniyak ng AFP na nakahanda ang kanilang buong pwersa na umagapay sa mamamayan sa oras ng kalamidad, sakuna, o anumang emergency. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
