Handa ang Pilipinas at China na pag-isahin ang effort ng mga ito, upang labanan ang organized crimes at transnational criminal activities.
Sa pulong nina Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian at Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin (July 1), natalakay ang mga paraan para sa pagpapalakas pa ng balikatan sa linyang ito.
Nagpasalamat ang China sa mga hakbang ng Pilipinas laban sa illegal offshore gaming sa bansa at sa pag-rescue sa ilang Chinese nationals mula sa mga iligal na aktibidad na ito.
“The Chinese Embassy in the Philippines has been actively collaborating and maintaining open communication channels with their Philippine counterparts throughout this process. This mutual support demonstrates the commitment and determination of both countries to curb transnational organized crime effectively.” —PAOCC.
Ayon sa Presidential Anti-Organize Crime Commission (PAOCC), ang pina-igting na kooperasyong ito ng dalawang bansa ay nagbibigay lamang ng malinaw na mensahe sa mga sindikato na hindi kukunsintihin ng pamahalaan ang mga aktibidad na sisira sa seguridad at estado ng Pilipinas at China.
“The strengthened cooperation between China and the Philippines sends a clear message to criminal syndicates operating across borders that their malicious activities will not be tolerated nor allowed to undermine the security and stability of these nations. It also paves the way for the exchange of expertise, intelligence sharing, and collaborations, enabling the authorities on both sides to effectively disrupt and dismantle criminal networks.” —PAOCC.
Sinasalamin rin ng commitment na ito ang proactive measures na ipinatutupad ng dalawang bansa, sa pagprotekta sa mga mamamayan nito.
