Sa unang araw ng kaniyang panunungkulan bilang Kalihim ng Department of Education (DepEd), agad na pinulong ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara ang Executive Committee ng kagawaran ngayong araw.

Layunin ng pulong na talakayin ang mga polisiya at palakad na nangangailangan ng agarang aksyon.

Kabilang sa natalakay ang mga paghahanda para sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng School Year 2024-2025 sa July 29.

Nauna rito ay sinabi ni Secretary Angara, na higit pa niyang pagbubutihin ang mga programa sa DepEd na magsusulong sa mataas na kalidad ng karunungan para sa mga mag-aaral. | ulat ni Diane Lear
