DMW, tumanggap ng “unmodified opinion” mula sa COA sa unang taon ng operasyon nito

Tumanggap ng “unmodified opinion” ang Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) mula sa Commission on Audit (COA) sa kanilang 2023 Financial Statements.

Ang unmodified opinion ay ibinibigay ng COA kapag ang mga financial statement ay inihanda nang maayos at naaayon sa mga pamantayan ng financial reporting framework.

Ayon kay Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac, ang pagtanggap ng “unmodified opinion” sa unang taon ng DMW ay patunay sa kanilang dedikasyon at integridad sa pagtulong sa mga OFW na nangangailangan, habang maayos na pinangangalagaan ang pondo ng bayan.

Ang DMW ay mayroong P1.2 bilyon na AKSYON Fund na ginagamit para magbigay ng legal, pinansyal, at medikal na tulong sa mga OFW na nangangailangan.

Ang ahensya din ang nangunguna sa National Reintegration Program na nag-aalok ng mga programa para sa kabuhayan, pagsasanay, at skills development para sa mga nagbabalik-bayan na OFW. | ulat ni Diane Lear
