DSWD, nakapagtala na ng halos 3,000 indibidwal na apektado ng habagat at bagyong Carina

Nakapagtala na ang DSWD ng inisyal na 806 pamilya o halos 3,000 indibidwal na apektado ng malalakas na ulang dala ng habagat at bagyong Carina.

Sa ngayon, karamihan ng mga apektado ay nagmula sa NCR, Cagayan Valley region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western at Central Visayas.

Batay din sa datos ng DSWD Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center, July 23, mayroon nang halos 600 na pamilya o katumbas ng 2,133 indibidwal ang pansamantalang inilikas sa 42 evacuation centers habang nasa 29 pamilya naman ang nakikitira muna sa kanilang kaanak.

Kaugnay nito, tiniyak naman ng DSWD na sapat ang pondo nito para umayuda sa mga apektado ng pag-ulan.

Sa kasalukuyan, nakapagpaabot na ito ng P236,000 na tulong at mayroon pang kabuuang P2.5-billion ang hawak na relief resources ng ahensya sa kanilang stockpile ng food at nonfood items pati na standby funds. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
