Pinuri at pinasalamatan ni Speaker Martin Romualdez ang ipinaabot na tulong ng Singapore Red Cross para sa mga biktima ng super typhoon Carina.
Ang $50,000 US dollars o katumbas ng ₱2.925-million na donasyon ay idadaan sa Philippine Red Cross upang magamit sa emergency operations at relief sa mga apektadong komunidad.
Ani Romualdez, tiyak na ipagpapasalamat ng mga Pilipino ang kagandahang loob na ipinakita ng Singapore.
“I am sure that our people, especially those affected by the recent typhoon, deeply appreciate the kind gesture of our friends from Singapore. On behalf of our people and President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., thank you, Singapore Red Cross,” sabi ni Romualdez.
