Sisimulan na ng House Committee on Public Order and Safety, katuwang ang House Committee on Games and Amusements ang imbestigasyon ukol sa POGO related crimes.

Ayon kay Laguna Representative Dan Fernandez,  partikular nilang pagtutuunan ng pansin ang mga iligal na POGO na sangkot sa krimen.

Ito aniya ay para matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga publiko at ng pambansang seguridad sa kabuuan.

Kabilang sa kanilang inimbitahan na dumalo sa pagdinig ang Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporations (PAGCOR), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PAOCC), pati ang League of Cities at Municipalities in the Philippines lalo na aniya at ang mga lokal na pamahalaan ang may responsibilidad sa kanilang nasasakupan.

Bukas rin naman si Fernandez sa mga suhestiyon na ang mga LGU na ang magpasa ng ordinansa laban sa operasyon ng mga POGO.

Gayunman, paalala nito na ang PAGCOR pa rin ang nagbibigay ng prangkisa at lisensya sa POGO.

Kaya umaasa ito na sa pamamagitan ng pagdinig ay malinawan ang lahat hinggil sa polisiya at panuntunan sa pagbabantay sa mga POGO iligal man o ligal. | ulat ni Kathleen Forbes
