Mababang ‘inflation outturn’ inaasahang magtutuloy-tuloy dahil sa mas mababang taripa ng bigas — BSP

Naniniwala ang Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) na ang pagbagal ng inflation ngayong buwan ng Hunyo ay simula na ng downside ng inflation ngayong 2024 hanggang 2025.

Ito, anila, ay dahil sa epekto ng mas mababang taripa sa imported na bigas sa ilalim ng Executive Order (EO) 62.

Sa statement na inilabas ng BSP ang 3.7 percent June inflation outturn ay pasok sa forecast range ng Central Bank na nasa 3.4 to 4.2 percent.

Mas mababa ito sa 3.9 percent na May inflation at 5.4 percent nang parehas na buwan noong 2023.
