Meralco, mahigpit na binabantayan ang sitwasyon matapos na itaas ang Yellow Alert status sa Luzon Grid ngayong hapon

Nananatiling naka-alerto ang Manila Electric Company (Meralco) kasunod ng pagtaas ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) ng Yellow Alert status sa Luzon Grid kaninang hapon.

Nanawagan ang Meralco sa mga kalahok ng Interruptible Load Program (ILP) na maging handa sakaling lumala pa ang sitwasyon at mag-Red Alert.

Hinikayat din ni Meralco Spokesperson at Head of Corporate Communications Joe R. Zaldarriaga ang publiko na magtipid ng kuryente upang makatulong sa pagbabalanse ng supply at demand ng kuryente sa grid.

Tiniyak naman ng Meralco na patuloy nilang babantayan ang sitwasyon at magbibigay ng mga update sa publiko kung kinakailangan. | ulat ni Diane Lear
