Siniguro ni Speaker Martin Romualdez sa Philippine Air Force (PAF) at kabuuan ng Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas na titiyakin ng Kamara na may sapat na pondo ang kanilang modernisasyon at welfare programs sa taunang national budget.
Ito ang tinuran ng House leader kasabay ng ika-77 taong anibersasryo ng PAF.
Aniya, kaisa ang buong Kamara sa pagsuporta ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa buong armed forces.
“We are committed to providing the necessary legislative support to ensure that the modernization programs and welfare initiatives for our armed forces are fully funded and effectively implemented. We will continue to work on policies that enhance our defense capabilities, improve the conditions of service for our soldiers, and ensure that the Philippines remains safe and secure,” saad niya.
Punto ni Speaker Romualdez, na batid ng pamahalaan ang pagbabago sa defense capabilities lalo na pagdating sa mga kagamitan.
Kaya mahalaga aniya na maisakatuparan ang modernization program ng AFP upang matiyak na equipped sila ng mga pinakamodernong kagamitan upang matugunan ang iba’t ibang hamon.
Bahagi aniya nito ang makabago at modernong aircraft, radar system at mga kagamitan na magagamit sa pag protekta ng ating soberanya at teritorrial integrity.
Maliban naman sa kagamitan ay binibigyang halaga din ani Romualdez ng pamahalaan ang kapakanan ng kasundaluhan sa pamamagitan ng welfare programs, hindi lang para sa kanila kung hindi pati sa kanilang mga pamilya.
“Recognizing the immense sacrifices you make, the administration has implemented various programs aimed at improving your living conditions, providing comprehensive health care, and ensuring that your families are well-supported. These measures are in place to ensure that you can perform your duties with peace of mind, knowing that your loved ones are taken care of,” sabi ni Romualdez.
Kasabay nito ay binigyang pagkilala, papuri at pasasalamat ng House leader ang Air Force personnel sa kanilang dedikasyon, katapangan at walang pag-iimbot na paglilingkod hindi lang sa pagprotekta ng seguridad ng bansa ngunit maging sa pagtugon sa humanitarian at disaster operations.
