‘Monster ship’ ng China Coast Guard, nakalabas na ng EEZ ng Pilipinas; bilang ng mga barko ng China sa WPS, lalo lang nadagdagan

Kinumpirma ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na nakalabas na ng Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) ng Pilipinas ang itinuturing na “monster ship” o ang pinakamalaking barko ng China Coast Guard.

Ito ang iniulat ni Philippine Navy Spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, Rear Admiral Roy Vincent Trinidad batay sa pinakahuli nilang monitoring sa nasabing karagatan.

Gayunman, kinumpirma ni Trinidad na isa pang barko ng China Coast Guard na may bow no. 5903 ang kanilang namataan sa layong 60 nautical miles mula sa Batangas.

Bagaman mayroon namang kalayaan ang naturang barko sa paglalayag, tinawag namang “intrusive” o panghihimasok ng Pilipinas ang pagpapatrolya na ito ng China sa katubigang sakop ng Pilipinas.

Samantala, iniulat din ng AFP na pumalo na sa 104 na mga barko ng Tsina ang namataan sa West Philippine Sea mula July 9 hanggang July 15.

Mas mataas ito kumpara sa 95 na namataang Chinese vessels noong June 5 hanggang July 1 ng taong kasalukuyan. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
