Kanselado na ang dapat sana’y Metro Manila Shake Dril na gagawin ngayong araw ayon sa Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

Batay sa inilabas na abiso ng MMDA, ito’y upang bigyang daan ang nagpapatuloy na paglilinis at pagsasaayos ng mga pinsalang tinamo ng ilang bahagi ng Kamaynilaan dulot ng habagat at bagyong Carina.

Magugunitnang layunin ng Metro Manila Shake Drill ang maimulat ang kamalayan ng mga taga-National Capital Region (NCR) hinggil sa mga dapat gawin sakaling tumama ang pinangangambahang “the Big One.”

Kasunod nito, muling maglalabas ng abiso ang MMDA kung kailan isasagawa ang naturang pagsasanay. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
