Sinuspinde na ng Malacañang ang pasok bukas (July 25) sa government offices at pampublikong paaralan, sa Metro Manila, Region III, at IV-A, dahil sa epekto ng Bagyong Carina.
Ito ayon kay ES Lucas Bersamin ay upang mabigyang daan rin ang rescue, recovery, at relief effort ng pamahalaan at pribadong sektor.
“In view of the continuous rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon “Carina,” and to aid in the rescue, recovery, relief and rehabilitation efforts of the government and the private sector, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Regions III, IV-A and the National Capital Region are hereby suspended on 25 July 2024.” —ES Bersamin.
Ang mga tanggapan naman na mayroong kinalaman sa delivery ng health services, disaster preparedness, at calamity response ay kailangan pa ring magpatuloy sa operasyon.
Ang desisyon naman kaugnay sa pasok sa mga pribadong kumpaniya ay ipinauubaya na ng Palasyo sa pribadong sektor.| ulat ni Racquel Bayan
