Presensya ng Chinese Carrier strike group sa Philippine Sea, kinumpirma ng AFP

Kinumpirma ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang presensya ng Aircraft Carrier ng People’s Liberation Army Navy ng China sa karagatang sakop ng Philippine Sea.

Ito’y kasunod ng ulat ng US Naval Institute na ipinadala na ng China ang kanilang PLAN Shandong Carrier Strike Group para sa kauna-unahang operasyon nito sa karagatang sakop ng Pilipinas.

Ayon kay AFP Spokesperson, Colonel Francel Margareth Padilla, nakababahala aniya ang presensya ng Chinese carrier strike group sa karagatan ng Pilipinas.

Binigyang diin ni Padilla ang kahalagahan ng pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan gayundin ang katatagan sa rehiyon, at hinikayat nito ang lahat ng partido na sundin ang international law partikular na ang United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNLCOS).

Kasunod nito, tiniyak ni Padilla na mananatiling committed ang AFP sa pagtitiyak ng seguridad sa karagatang sakop ng Pilipinas at patuloy nila itong babantayan mula sa alinmang bansa na magtatangkang pumasok dito. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
