Sen. Mark Villar, planong kausapin ang DPWH kaugnay ng naranasang pagbaha sa Metro Manila at iba pang lugar

Balak kausapin ni dating DPWH secretary at ngayo’y Senador Mark Villar ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) kaugnay ng naranasang malawakang pagbaha sa Metro Manila at kalapit na mga lugar.

Partikular na nais malaman ni Villar ang dahilan ng pagbaha sa paligid mismo ng Senado na dati naman ay hindi binabaha.

Nais ring malaman ng senador kung ano ang pwedeng gawin para hindi na maulit ang ganitong pangyayari.

Kaugnay nito, balak rin ni Senator Mark na maghain ng resolusyon para magkaroon ng Senate inquiry tungkol sa lumalalang pagbaha sa kamaynilaan at mga karatig lugar.

Hindi naman din iniaalis ng mambabatas ang posibilidad na ang reclamation sa Manila bay ang sanhi ng pagbaha.
