Target inflation para ngayong taon, inaasahang makakamit sa pamamagitan ng whole-of-gov’t intervention — DOF Sec. Recto

Positibo si Department of Finance (DOF) Secretary Ralph Recto na makakamit ng Pilipinas ang target inflation ngayong taon.

Ito ang inihayag ni Recto kasunod ng naitalang 3.7 percent June inflation.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga ipinatutupad ng Marcos Jr. administration na whole-of-government intervention, matitiyak na mapapangalagaan ang purchasing power ng mga Pilipino.

Ayon sa kalihim, target ng economic managers na 2% to 4% inflation ngayong taon, kaya naman naging data driven ang pagpasya ng gobyerno na kontrolin ang pagtaas ng presyo ng bigas.

Malaking tulong aniya ito upang maibsan ang pasanin ng mga mahihirap sa mataas na presyo ng bigas.

Pagtitiyak ng DOF chief, hindi magpapakampante ang gobyerno sa pamamahala ng inflation upang pakinabangan ng mas maraming Pilipino. | ulat ni Melany Valdoz-Reyes
