Tulong sa mga mangingisdang apektado ng oil spill sa Bataan, inihahanda na ng DA

Pinag-aaralan na ng Department of Agriculture (DA) ang tulong na maaari nitong ipaabot para sa mga mangingisdang apektado ng oil spill sa Bataan.

Ayon kay Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr., kasama sa pinag-aaralan ng kagawaran ang posibilidad na mamahagi ng fuel subsidy sa mga apektadong mangingisda.

Kinokonsidera na rin aniya ang posibleng alternative livelihood na maialok sa mga mangingisda na huhugutin sa Quick Response Fund ng ahensya.

Sa ngayon, inatasan na ng kalihim ang Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) na magpadala ng technical team para matukoy ang maaaring intervention sa mga tinamaan ng oil spill. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
