AFP, tumulong na sa operasyon ng PNP sa KOJC Compound

Tumutulong na rin ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sa operasyon ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Compound sa Davao City.

Ayon kay Philippine Army Spokesperson Colonel Louie Dema-ala, kasalukuyang nakapalibot sa compound ng KOJC ang mga tropa ng Eastern Mindanao Command (EASTMINCOM) para tulungan ang mga pulis.

Nilinaw naman ni Dema-ala na limitado ang papel ng militar sa “crowd management” at pagbibigay ng humanitarian assistance.

Binigyang diin ni Dema-ala na walang partisipasyon ang mga tropa sa paghahanap ng mga pulis kay Quiboloy.

Sa hiwalay na press briefing, kinumpirma ni PNP Public Information Office Chief Police Colonel Jean Fajardo na ang PNP ang humingi ng “augmentation” sa AFP, para makapagpahinga rin ang unang batch ng mga pulis na kasama sa simula ng operasyon noong Sabado. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
