Pormal na iniluklok sa pwesto ni Philippine Navy Flag Officer in Command Vice Admiral Toribio Adaci Jr. si Rear Admiral Jose Ma. Ambrosio Ezpeleta bilang ika-57 vice commander ng Philippine Navy.

Sa Change of Chief of Office Ceremony sa Philippine Navy Headquarters noong Miyerkules, pinalitan ni RAdm. Ezpeleta si Rear Admiral Caesar Bernard Valencia, na una nang nanungkulan bilang Superintendent ng Philippine Military Academy.

Sa kanyang mensahe, kinilala ni VAdm. Adaci ang naging mahalagang papel ni RAdm. Valencia sa paghubog ng kinabukasan ng Philippine Navy sa pamamagitan ng kanyang paggabay sa pagkuha ng mga bagong barko at pagpapahusay ng strategic capabilities ng hukbong dagat.

Nagpahayag naman ng kumpiyansa si VAdm. Adaci sa kakayahan ni RAdm. Ezpeleta at sinabing ang kanyang strategic insight at leadership qualities ay naangkop sa kanyang bagong posisyon bilang pangalawang pinakamataas na opisyal ng Phil. Navy. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
