COA, pinakiusapan ang House Appropriations Committee na ikonsidera ang ibinawas sa kanilang hiling na budget para sa taong 2025

Nanawagan ang Commission on Audit (COA) sa Kamara na dagdagan ang kanilang budget para sa taong 2025.

Sa ilalim ng National Expenditure Program (NEP) nasa P13.415 billion ang kanilang budget, na nabawasan ng P670 million sa kanilang request na budget sa Department of Budget and Management (DBM).

Sa interpellation ni Muntinlupa Representative Jaime Fresnedi, tinanong nito kung ano ang epekto sa kanilang operasyon ng binawas sa budget.

Sagot ni COA Chairperson Gamaliel Cordoba, maaapektuhan nito ang kanilang Provincial Satellite Auditing Office kung saan naroon ang kanilang storage rooms at safekeeping ng mga dokumento.
