Dalawa pang coastal water sa bansa, nagpositibo sa Red Tide – BFAR

Nadagdagan pa ng dalawang coastal water sa bansa ang nagpositibo sa Paralytic Shellfish Poison (PSP) o Toxic Red Tide.

Ayon sa BFAR, pumalo na sa 12 ng coastal water sa iba’t ibang lugar sa bansa ang may red tide.

Ipinagbabawal pa rin ang paghango at pagkain ng shellfish o lamang dagat sa Dumanquillas Bay sa Zamboanga del Sur; coastal waters ng San Benito sa Surigao del Norte; coastal waters ng Daram Island, Irong-Irong Bay, Villareal Bay at Cambatutay Bay sa Samar; Matarinao Bay sa Eastern Samar; Cancabato Bay sa Leyte; at coastal waters ng Tungawan sa Zamboanga Sigubay Bay.

Nanatili namang malinis sa toxic red tide ang mga lamang dagat mula sa coastal waters ng Cavite, Las Piñas, Parañaque, Navotas sa Manila Bay, Bataan at Bulacan.| ulat ni Rey Ferrer
