Demand ng dugo sa bansa, tumaas dahil sa dengue outbreak – PRC

Kinumpirma ng Philippine Red Cross (PRC) ang pagtaas ng pangangailangan para sa dugo sa bansa dahil sa patuloy na paglaganap ng dengue sa ilang lugar.

Sa kasalukuyan, umabot na sa 136,161 ang naitalang kaso ng dengue sa bansa mula Enero hanggang ngayong Agosto.

Ito ay mas mataas ng 33 percwwnt kumpara sa mahigit 102,000 na kaso ng dengue sa parehong panahon noong nakaraang taon.

Tiniyak naman ng PRC na patuloy silang magbibigay ng dugo sa mga pasyenteng may dengue.

Sa ngayon, umabot na sa mahigit 3,000 blood units ang naipamahagi ng PRC sa mga naapektuhan ng dengue sa buong bansa. | ulat ni Diane Lear
