DepEd, lumagda sa kasunduan para magbukas ng oportunidad sa mga kababaihan sa larangan ng Science, Engineering, at Mathematics

Lumagda sa kasunduan ang Department of Education (DepEd) at iamtheCODE upang magbukas ng mga oportunidad sa mga kababaihan sa larangan ng Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Design (STEAMD).

Ayon sa DepEd, sa ilalim ng kasunduang ito, magbibigay ang iamtheCODE ng mga coding skill lessons sa mga babaeng high school learners sa piling pilot schools.

Pinangunahan nina Education Secretary Sonny Angara at iamtheCODE Founder and CEO Lady Mariéme Jamme ang paglagda sa MOU.

Naging saksi naman sina First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos at ilang miyembro ng executive committee ng DepEd sa isinagawang paglagda.

Ang iamtheCODE ay isang organisasyon na nagbibigay ng mga oportunidad sa mga kababaihan sa larangan ng STEAMD. Layon nitong bumuo ng 1 milyong babaeng coder pagdating ng taong 2030. | ulat ni Diane Lear
