DPWH, makakatanggap ng second highest allocation sa 2025 proposed national budget

Sa hangarin na isulong ang infrastructure programs ng gobyerno ilalaan ang P900 billion na budget sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Iprinisinta ngayong araw ng DPWH ang kanilang 2025 proposed budget sa kamara.

Base sa 2025 National Expenditure Program (NEP), ang DPWH ay pangalawang ahensya ng gobyerno na may pinakamatas na budget na kumakatawan ng 14.2 percent ng kabuuang P5.768 trillion.

Ito ay upang pondohan ang iba’t ibang public infrastructure kabilang ang road, bridges, flood management facilities at academic buildings.

Sinabi ni DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, target nilang makamit ang target ng Philippine Development Plan na reliable, resilient infrastructure sa pamamagitan ng road network quality and safety construction sa mga kalamidad at bawasan ang travel time ng mga motorista. | ulat ni Melany Valdoz Reyes
