NEDA, dumipensa sa inilabas nilang poverty treshold

Nagpaliwanag ang National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) sa inilabas nilang food and poverty treshold.

Ito’y makaraang ulanin sila ng batikos dahil sa tila hindi makatotohanan ang ₱64 na budget kada araw para sa pagkain upang hindi maituring na food poor.

Ayon kay NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, kinikilala naman nila ang realidad na hindi sumasapat ang gastusin ng mga Pilipino dahil sa mataas na inflation.

Gayunman, ang naturang treshold aniya ang kanilang ginagamit na sukatan upang malaman kung gaano na karami ang mahihirap sa bansa.

Ito aniya ang magsisilbing hamon para sa pamahalaan kung ano-ano pa ang mga hakbang na kanilang gagawin para mai-angat ang antas ng kabuhayan ng mga Pilipino.
