PAF personnel na lumahok sa Pitch Black Exercise sa Australia, binigyang-pagkilala sa Camp Aguinaldo

Binigyang pagkilala ng Department of National Defense (DND) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang 162 miyembro ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) contingent na matagumpay na nakilahok sa Pitch Black Military Exercise sa Australia.

Ang Welcome and Recognition Ceremony sa Camp Aguinado kahapon ay pinangunahan ni DND Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, kasama si Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Hon. Hae Kyong Yu, AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo Brawner Jr., at PAF Commanding General Lt. Gen. Stephen Parreño.

Dito’y kinilala ang natatanging “performance” ng PAF personnel sa tatlong linggong ehersisyo, na isa sa pinakamalaking Air Force training exercise sa rehiyon.

Ang pagsasanay ang kauna-unahang pagkakataon na nagpadala ang Pilipinas ng apat na FA-50 fighter para lumahok sa mga ehersisyo na kinabilangan ng Basic Fighter Maneuvers (BFM), Tactical Intercepts (TI), Dissimilar Air Combat Tactics (DACT), at Large Force Employment (LFE).

Nagpasalamat si Lt. Gen. Parreño sa DND at AFP sa buong suporta ay paggabay na nagpahintulot sa PAF na sumali sa mahalagang international military exercise na malaking tulong sa pagpapahusay ng kakayahan ng PAF. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
