Regular na patrolya ng AFP sa Bajo de Masinloc, magpapatuloy sa kabila ng mapanganib na aksyon ng China

Nanindigan ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na magpapatuloy ang regular nilang pagpapatrolya sa Bajo de Masinloc.

Ito’y sa kabila ng ginawa ng China noong August 8 na pagpapakawala ng flares sa dinadaanan ng eroplano ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) na nagsasagawa ng security operations sa loob ng Philippine maritime zones.

Ayon kay AFP Spokesperson Col. Francel Margareth Padilla, hindi matitinag ng mapanganib na aksyon ng China ang paninindigan ng Sandatahang Lakas na ipaglaban ang karapatan ng Pilipinas sa naturang lugar, alinsunod sa international law, partikular ang United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea at ang Chicago Convention.

Nauna nang kinondena ng AFP ang pagpapalipad ng dalawang aircraft ng  People’s Liberation Army Air Force sa Bajo de Masinloc, kasabay ng isinagawang routine maritime patrol ng Philippine Air Force sa lugar.

Ayon sa AFP, ang ganitong aksyon ay malinaw na pakikialam at panghihimasok  sa ligal  na flight operations sa loob ng teritoryo ng Pilipinas, na  paglabag sa international law at regulations sa safety of aviation.  | ulat ni Leo Sarne
